Trever Brovan
Trever A. Brovan was born on August 28, 1968 and passed away on June 30, 2024 due to ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease).
Trever enjoyed sharing stories about his family, his mom Sue, dad Arnie, brother Troy, cousins and his friends while growing up in Chippewa Falls, WI. He loved being outside and would talk about spending all day riding bike, sledding, ice fishing, hunting, cutting wood and hanging out with his friends. There were times when he, along with his friends, would not be on their best behavior, making some poor decisions and sometimes getting into trouble. After telling what “mischief” he had gotten into, he would look at his children and say “don't you try that”.
Trever loved hunting, fishing, fixing vehicles and building things. Some of his most cherished memories were of spending time with his dad….as long as they were together he was happy.
Throughout the years Trever held different jobs, his last one was as an over the road truck driver. After his trips, he would bring gifts, share pictures and stories about different people he met and situations that would arise while being out on the road. After he was diagnosed with ALS he had to leave that job behind. This allowed him time to spend his days with family and dear friends for as long as he could.
In October of 2023, Trever, along with his family, were able to enjoy a cookout with his dad, brother, nephews as well as some of his dad's friends. Trever treasured their time together and was so happy to see them all.
As deer hunting season approached Trever wasn't sure if he would be able to go due to his health. With the help of The Hunting Crew (his family and friends) they made sure he was able to spend time out in the woods with those he loved, and he enjoyed every minute of it.
Trever enjoyed grilling out and visiting with family, both of which he was able to do in May of this year. Even though he couldn't do the grilling, he was able spend time with family, listening to stories and sharing some of his own. He was overjoyed at being able to see all the little ones, as well as all the hugs and kisses he gave and received. He never lost his sense of humor, always teasing and pulling pranks, especially on his family, and he was always ready with a smart response.
Throughout his illness he was able to be at home and be cared for by his family which is what he wanted. He is survived by his wife Jackie, his children Thomas (Michelle), Coral, Ryan, Kelsey, Michael (Kassie), Abigale, Jonathan and three grandchildren. He is further survived by his dad Arnie, brother Troy, mother-in-law Joyce, brother-in-laws Roger, Rodney and Mark, sister-in-law Lisa, six nieces, ten nephews, two great nieces (and one on the way), nine great nephews and several cousins as well as his extended family and friends.
Trever is preceded in death by his son Andrew, his mother Sue, father Jerry, grandparents, father-in-law Jonathan and other family members and friends.
The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support throughout this difficult time.
