Elana Hageness
Elana J. Hageness, 58, died peacefully in her sleep, after a long illness early Sunday, April 28, 2024, at Epic Home Healthcare in Marshfield.
She was born on March 3, 1966, to David and Judith (Pettis) Hageness. She leaves behind her parents, siblings, Kalynn (Eric) Dewitz, Monica (Gerald) Schemionek, David (Barb) Hageness, nieces and nephews, Jacob (Haylie) and Taylor (Mellisa VanBeek) Dewitz, Zachary and Garret (Kenzie) Schemionek, Madison and Evan Hageness, great nieces and nephews, Maxden and Lennon Dewitz, Cadence and Julian Van Beek, numerous aunts and uncles and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Russell and Amy Hageness and James and Inez Pettis.
In the prime of her life, she was full of joy and laughter. Our family is very grateful for all the love, support, condolences, and prayers as we come to terms with her loss.
A special thank you for all who cared for her, a very special thank you to Sam Seidel for giving her the best care throughout the remainder of her days.
A time to celebrate Elana’s life will be held Thursday, May 2, 2024, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta.
