Debora West
Debora Ann West, 69, of rural Fall Creek, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Dove Healthcare-West in Eau Claire.
Debora, daughter of Wayne and Frances Ann (Elbert) West was born August 17, 1954, in Eau Claire, WI. She grew up with her brother and sister in Seymour Township of Eau Claire County. Deb graduated from North High School in Eau Claire in 1972. Following her graduation she moved to St. Paul, MN, where for 27 years she was employed at a plastic factory. In the early 2000’s she moved back to the Eau Claire area, making her home with her sister Jeannine and Paul Price in rural Fall Creek. At this time and for the next 5 years she was employed by Hutchinson Technologies in Eau Claire.
Deb enjoyed hunting in Wisconsin and especially the annual deer season. Deb’s mother also moved into the Price home and with Jeannine and Paul, she helped take care of her mother until she passed away in 2018. By far the most important part of her life was her family. Over the years Deb was an extremely devoted aunt to Lori, Wayne and Lisa and also to her great nieces and nephews. They were all very blessed to have had each other in their lives.
For the past 2 years Deb was mostly confined to home and in her wheel chair. Due to her recent illness she was hospitalized and then taken into nursing home care. She had only been a resident of Dove Healthcare for a few days before passing away early Saturday morning, April 20, 2024, reaching the age of 69 years, 8 months and 3 days.
Deb will be dearly missed by her sister Jeannine Price of Fall Creek;
niece and nephew, Lori Price and Wayne Price; great nieces and nephews, Gracie Price and Paul Arthur Price III, Shyann and Alexis Price, Aaron and Austin Price; sister-in-law June West of Houston, TX; and aunt Rosie West of Augusta.
Debora was preceded in death by her father Wayne on Dec. 29, 1969; mother, Frances on Dec. 20, 2018: brother Randy on July 14, 2014; niece Elizabeth Price on Sept. 23, 2017; and brother-in-law
Paul Price on Jan. 30, 2023.
Private funeral services will be held at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta, with burial in the West Lawn Cemetery in Augusta.
