Kenneth Kiesow
Kenneth Kiesow, son of David and Marianne (Sperber) Kiesow was raised on the family farm in Lincoln Township, rural Fall Creek, WI, and it was here that he passed away unexpectedly on Saturday morning, January 18, 2025, at the age of 58 years, 7 months and 9 days.

Kenneth David Kiesow was born June 9, 1966. He attended school in Fall Creek and graduated from Fall Creek High School in 1984. While in high school Kenny excelled in band and choir, which went on to influence his entire life.

Kenny received a Bachelor’s Degree in Math and Music from the University of Wisconsin –Eau Claire. For several years in addition to farming with his family, he was an on call substitute teacher for a large portion of northern Wisconsin. He was currently employed, where he had been for many years at Spectrum Industries in Chippewa Falls.

Kenny gave back to his community by heading the Election Board for Lincoln Township, a position he held for a number of years. His faith was also an important aspect of his life. He was baptized at Zion Lutheran Church in Hay Creek and was a confirmed and life long member of Zion Lutheran Church in Seymour Township. With the church he served as an elder for many years as well as church chairman. He had been a delegate to the district and synod conventions, was a part of the church choir and even mowed the lawn for the church and cemetery for a number of years.
Kenny’s immediate family and extended family meant the world to him, but he also took an profound interest in his forefathers, having searched his genealogy on both sides of his family back to Germany. He was a member of the Eau Claire Genealogy Society and had served as President of the Wisconsin State Genealogy Society.

All throughout his life Kenny’s love for music was obvious. He was instrumental in the formation and directed the With One Voice Community Choir. This choir entertained at various events in the area, during church services and at numerous nursing homes. While in grade and high school he took up playing the tuba which peaked his interest in learning to play the euphonium and other brass instruments, also the piano and guitar as well.

Kenny was a devoted member and brother of the Phi Mu Alpha. For 46 years he had been a member of the Eau Claire Municipal band where he was the second longest member and served as the band librarian. Kenny always enjoyed their summer concerts and attending parades. He had also been a member and President of the Chippewa Valley Concert Band. Since 2001 he had played with the Northwoods British Brass Band in Rice Lake, in addition to playing with the Jubilate Choir and Orchestra at South Beef River Church in Osseo. During the holidays he would performed in a Tuba Christmas Concert and also with the brass ensemble at Trinity Lutheran Church in Eau Claire. He was also involved with the Ludington Guard Band which performed concerts in Menomonie and for the past 3 summers participated in the “Garding Against Cancer Benefit.”

Kenny touched and enriched the lives of so many individuals and his passion for his family, religion, community and music will be deeply missed by so many, especially his parents, Dave and Marianne; brother Klint Kiesow of Fall Creek; sister, Kristine (Timothy) Knudson of Strum; 2 nephews Nicholas Kiesow and Kaine Knudson; aunts and uncles, Carol Thur of Menomonie, Gary and Marilyn Sperber of Chippewa Falls; Melody Sperber of Augusta; several cousins, other relatives and long time friends.

Kenny is reunited in heaven with his loving grandparents, Adolph and Alma Kiesow, Gaylord “John” and Ella Sperber.
